Paolo Pellegrin

Magnum-photographer Paolo Pellegrin (Italy, 1964) strives for photographs that are ‘unfinished’, and therefore invite to discussion and dialogue in a way more outspoken work by many of his colleagues doesn’t. He has published photo books like Kosovo 1999-2000: The Flight of Reason (2002) and Double Blind: War in Lebanon 2006 (2007). With his approach he has brought home eight World Press Photo awards, one Robert Capa Gold Medal Award and one W. Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography.
