Opening hours
The regular opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Please note: There are a few days when the Akerk location will close earlier than usual:
- Saturday, November 30: Akerk will close at 13:30 PM,
but the Noorderlicht gallery will remain open until 5:00 PM. - Thursday, December 12: Akerk will close at 1:30 PM,
but the Noorderlicht gallery will remain open until 5:00 PM. - Tuesday, December 17: Both locations will be closed all day.
We will be closed for the holidays from December 23 to January 6. We look forward to welcoming you again when we reopen on January 7, 2025!

Noorderlicht is located at Akerkhof 12 in Groningen. It is conveniently situated in the city center and easily accessible by public transport. Groningen Central Station is a 10-minute walk away.
