Opening hours
‘What Knots Knot Knots’ will be on display from 26 June 2026 at VHDG in Leeuwarden, the Kamp Westerbork Memorial Centre and DIEP in Drenthe, the Groninger Museum (Wall House#2) and Noorderlicht in Groningen.

Noorderlicht is a platform for photography and lens-based media that focuses on social and cultural issues.
Noorderlicht is located in Groningen at Akerkhof 12.
The permanent exhibition space is situated in Groningen, Akerkhof 12, 9711 JB. However, Noorderlicht also organizes exhibitions and events at other locations.
The regular opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Please note: There are a few days when the Akerk location will close earlier than usual:
- Saturday, November 30: Akerk will close at 3:00 PM, but the gallery will remain open until 5:00 PM.
- Thursday, December 12: Akerk will close at 1:30 PM, but the gallery will remain open until 5:00 PM.
- Tuesday, December 17: Both locations will be closed all day.
We will be closed for the holidays from December 23 to January 6. We look forward to welcoming you again when we reopen on January 7, 2025!
