This work reflects the experiences of a society full of violence, present at all levels of everyday life.
A battle that plays on so many layers, criminal, political, economic, social, moral, that it should not be called war. By linking different events, Castillo wants to gain a better understanding of cause and effect, of how the current tragedy came about. The pain takes on a human face in these images.
