The Future of Something
Jonas Lund immerses us in human fears and insecurities in a world increasingly driven by AI. We follow seven different support groups where the characters come together for relationship therapy, coping with robots, or online poker addiction. Some are members of ‘Influencers Anonymous’.

They discuss their fears: how machines threaten to make humans obsolete and how AI is indifferent to concepts like authenticity or creativity. Yet, while trying to comfort each other, some can’t resist promoting their YouTube channels or selling their digital products. This undermining of the idea of human superiority suggests that perhaps the real danger isn’t the machine.
