Isaiah
Trullinger (1972) examines family relationships with her photos, focussing in particular on the male culture within her own family. She combines old family pictures with her self-made portraits and self- portraits. The past and her memories are thus exposed in a gripping manner. Trullinger wants to publish the ‘results’ of her research of her study in book form. Isaiah was published in 1997 in a limited edition and is as it were a chapter from a sizeable future publication. In the book she wants to analyse gestures, resemblances, cultural differences and similarities.
