Sheng-Wen Lo

Sheng-Wen Lo (1987) lives in Amsterdam, where he is artist-in-residence at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. He obtained his MA in Photography from the Academy of Art and Design St. Joost in Breda, and completed the MSc in Computer Science at the Music Lab of the National University of Taiwan. Lo is creative director of Lightbox, a public photo library and centre for contemporary photography in Taipei. He was nominated for the Foam Paul Huf Award (2019) and the Prix Pictet Photography Prize (2019). His recent projects have been shown at the EYE Filmmuseum, World Press Photo, BredaPhoto, LhGWR and FotoFestival Naarden.
