Darren Soh

Darren Soh (Singapore, 1976) was trained as a sociologist, but decided he would rather record society than write about. In addition to commercial work puts his time into his own projects, for which he turns his camera on the landscape and its use, in and outside of the city. For instance, he wants to record Singapore before this city-state is entirely swallowed up by onward-rushing modernisation. In 2009 Photo District Newsrecommended Soh as one of the ’30 Photographers to Watch’.
