About Antonin Kratochvil
Antonin Kratochvil (Czechoslovakia, 1947) began his career as a photographer at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Since the 1970s he has been photographing street children in Mongolia and famous musicians and actors, among them David Bowie and George Clooney. Kratochvil recorded the war in Iraq and in Africa he investigated the origin of so-called blood diamonds. Kratochvil is a co-founder of the photo agency VII.
