The Whisper of Sirens (2022)
“At 5 am on February 24, 2022, through a dream, I heard for the first time the faint sound of sirens announcing an air raid somewhere far away. In a few minutes there was an explosion, a very close one, the windows shook. The dream vanished without a trace. Since then, life in Ukraine has changed dramatically. The sound of sirens is its constant companion now. We got used to it, but every day this sound reminds us that we already live in a new world."
