Net-Zero Transition

Climate change is the greatest threat facing the world. The challenge ahead should prompt us to change our perspective, by designing a humanity that is no longer separate from its ecosystem but one with the planet it inhabits. Simone Tramonte’s project shows images of some of the most relevant initiatives that could make Europe the first carbon-neutral continent in the world.

The EU has set a target of reducing emissions by at least 55% by 2030 and to net zero by 2050. Renewable energy, new technologies for food production and the circular economy are key solutions to achieving these Green Deal goals. Many revolutionary seeds have been sown across Europe to make the future sustainable for generations to come. These innovative technologies point the way to climate neutrality and a model that can generate a new sustainable life cycle.
