Popview 2009
Noorderlicht presents Popview 2009: the nominees for the Lex van Rossen Award 2009. This is the second edition of the annual photo exhibition Popview. This European platform for pop photography gives European music photographers under the age of 35 the chance to bring their work before an international audience, outside of the normal context of music and news magazines, internet and artwork.
A team of photographers and curators has made a selection of seven young, talented music photographers. From their midst a professional jury* chose Tom Verbruggen as the winner of the Lex van Rossen Award 2009, that was awarded during the Eurosonic Noorderslag festival.
