The Dutch landscape is under heavy pressure due to the various claims to the limited space. It is extremely difficult to protect the landscape as a collective value and then to prepare it for the future. Changes usually produce great resistance. Looking away from responsibility is very easy if the consequences of choices are less visible in the short term.
In 2018, as part of the ‘Imagining Science’ assignment cycle, photographer Eddo Hartmann (Netherlands, 1973), commissioned by the University of Groningen and Noorderlicht, focused his lens on a number of researchers and research groups from the different academic disciplines. deal with this theme.
