UNIVERSUM MMN (2016-present)

UNIVERSUM MMN is an intimate exploration of the unreal state Marcus Peters found himself in at the beginning of last year. Within the space of six months, all the strength flowed out of his body and Peters increasingly lost control over his body. He began to feel both physically and mentally weightless, like a shaky astronaut who after knocking into an obstacle can only move in the direction it sends him in. After numerous medical examinations, Peters was diagnosed with the rare neuromuscular disease of multifocal motor neuropathy. He collects the scans from this unfathomable universe, which evoke apparitions of living organisms, immaterial structures and imaginary means of transport. Peters rearranges them, again and again. Until he finds answers, that raise new questions.
