Afslag BLV

Afslag BLV is located in the Heerenveense School and since 2018 a branch of Museum Belvédère in Heerenveen. It is a freely accessible, stimulating platform for experimentation and talent development, where young makers meet young exhibition makers and young audiences. During the Noorderlicht Festival we will be showing photographic work by David Magnusson (Sweden), Nathaniel White (Great Britain) and Marco Frauchiger (Switzerland). Their series are clearly politically coloured, with themes such as the refugee crisis, war violence and the urge for freedom.
