The work plays on the double meaning of the Portuguese word “dados”—both “data” and “being given to”—showing how being online often means surrendering control and power. At a time when big tech companies like Apple and Google are patenting hand gestures and body movements for new forms of digital interaction, Dados ao Sistema II – Intimidade reveals how even physical expressions are converted into data. The installation invites reflection on repetition, time, and the fragile nature of our relationship with mobile technologies.
