Vacancy: Experienced Educator

What will you do?
As an Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that connect art and education. Your tasks include:

– Developing a new curriculum for Noorderlicht.
– Creating activities and programs for diverse target groups, including schools and families.
– Guiding school groups and supporting tours.
– Maintaining and updating educational materials.
– Coordinating workshops, lectures, and other public activities.
– Writing texts for PR and communication related to educational projects.
– Collaborating with teachers and volunteers and providing them with support for educational activities.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an Educator who:

– Has a demonstrated background in education and experience working with groups.
– Is creative, self-reliant, and highly organized.
– Has an affinity for art, culture, and societal themes.
– Possesses strong communication and digital skills.
– Holds at least a bachelor’s level of education.
– Is fluent in Dutch (required) and proficient in English.
– Lives in or near Groningen.
– Bonus: has a driver’s license (B)!
