Recap opening weekend Machine Entanglements

Last Friday we opened our 30th biennial Machine Entanglements in Friesland. With a very special bus we left Groningen for Museum Dr8888 and Museum Belvédère to see the exhibitions there. With live performances by MAYTE and opening remarks by Roosje Klap, Wybren Jorritsma and Han Steenbruggen.

Our second opening day took us to De Proef, again in a beautiful bus from the Nationaal Bus Museum. We had lunch with ingredients from De Proef’s own garden (and we also lunched in their own garden!), a guided tour, a performance by Marit Nygard, and of course, an official opening ceremony. And that means only one thing: De Proef is now officially open as one of the biennial locations for Machine Entanglements. 

Here we go! After our final opening day at the Niemeyerfabriek, Machine Entanglements is now officially open. We look back on a successful weekend and would like to thank everyone who made our 30th biennial possible:
