TAXI

Since 2007 Suman Samaipati (India, 1975) and Sourav Roy Chowdhury (India, 1976) have worked together under the name TAXI. Samaipati studied at the North Bengal University, the Birla Institute of Liberal Arts and the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Roy Chowdhury studied at Calcutta University. The pair work in various media, from photography and hand coloured photos to video, and have participated in various international exhibitions, including the Berlin Biënnale.
