Sumit Dayal (India, 1981) was born in Kashmir, grew up in Nepal, and graduated from the University of Delhi. In 2006 he successfully completed the course in Documentary & Photo Journalism at the International Center of Photography in New York. In his work he focuses on the changing landscape and disappearing cultures of South East Asia. In 2010 the American photo magazine PDN included his name on their list of 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch.
