Stefan Bremer (1953) is a Finnish photographer. Bremer studied at the University of Art and Design in 1974-1980. He has also worked as a photographer for many magazines such as Suomen Kuvalehti. He became known as a photographer for Helsinki’s nightlife and rock musicians, and because of this as the author of many record covers, first as a photographer and later as a graphic designer. Theater photography became a central part of his work when he joined the Finnish People’s Theater in 1978 as a photographer for Pete Q. Bremer was awarded the State Prize for Art in 1988, the title of Professor of Art in 1999 and the Helsinki Culture Prize in 2011.
