S. Gayle Stevens

S. Gayle Stevens (United States, 1955) received her Master of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Chicago. Critical Mass proclaimed her one of the 50 best photographers of 2010, and she is a member of the photo collective When Pigs Fly. She works chiefly with the collodion wet plate process, today an individualistic technique involving coating and exposing wet glass negatives that goes back to the earliest years of photography.
