Rula Halawani

Rula Halawani (b. 1964) has a BA in Photography from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada (1989) and a MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster, London (2001). She worked for Reuters until 1999, and since then worked as a freelance photojournalist. She has received many awards and is founder of the photography programme at Birzeit University in Palestine.
