Rafal Gerszak

Rafal Gerszak (Poland, 1980) is a photojournalist. With his family he fled his homeland during the Cold War. After a period in a German refugee camp Gerszak emigrated to Canada. There he trained as a photographer at Langara College, in Vancouver. Presently Gerszak is working in Canada and Afghanistan, documenting the social, political and military effects of the war in Afghanistan.
