Peter van Agtmael

Peter van Agtmael (United States, 1981) studied history at Yale University, and then spent a year in China recording the effects of the building of the Three Gorges Dam. In late 2004 Van Agtmael became a freelance photographer, and since 2008 he has been an candidate member of Magnum. Last year his book 2nd Tour Hope I Don’t Dieappeared, with his work as an embedded photographer in Afghanistan and Iraq.
