About Pete Solness
Peter Solness (Australia, 1958) began his career in the 1980s as a photographer for The Sydney Morning Herald and the National Times. He lived and worked both in urban environments and in the vast Australian outback. Among the institutions with his work in their collections are the National Library of Australia, the Museum of Sydney, and the Parliament building of New South Wales. He has published eight books, and received the prestigious NSW Parliamentary Plein Air Photographic Prize.
