Mila Teshaieva

Mila Teshaieva (1974, Kyiv, Ukraine) uses photography, video and text in long-term projects to describe the tension between individual and collective identity. Her works were shown in Academy of Art Berlin, Deutsche Börse Foundation Frankfurt, Museum for European Cultures Berlin, Haggerty Museum of Art, Milwaukee, among many others and represented in several public collections. Teshaieva’s comprehensive exhibition of works ‘Imagined Community’ was shown at the MIT Museum in Boston in 2018.
