Mashid Mohadjerin

Mashid Mohadjerin (1976) grew up in Belgium, where she studied photography. Since 2004 she has worked as a freelancer, on assignments from magazines like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, De Standaard, Knackand de Volkskrant. In addition she works on her own projects dealing with identity in migration. Mohadjerin received recognition during World Press Photo 2009. She presently lives in New York.
