Margherita Verdi

Margherita Verdi lives and works in Florence, where she started her photographic activity in the early 1980s. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, in museums and galleries. In addition to photographic research, she collaborates with public and private bodies in the organization of exhibitions and cultural activities (in collaboration with Dryphoto, she compiled the European prize for female photographers I places of life from 1994 to 2004). She has created several photographic projects including botanical gardens, industrial archaeology, natural history museums, zoos, aquariums and religious sites.
