Lisa Barnard

Lisa Barnard (1967) graduated with a BA in Photography from the University of Brighton in 2005. She gained an MA in Photography with Critical Theory. She is a documentary photographer, political artist, and Senior Lecturer on Documentary Photography at The University of South Wales. She has published the books Chateau Despair and Hyenas of the Battlefield Machines in the Garden. Barnard’s work won the Daily Telegraph Visions of Science Award and the Danny Wilson Award at the Brighton Photo Biennial 2008.
