Lavinia Xausa

Lavinia Xausa (1992) obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Visual Culture and Media Studies cum laude at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the University of Bologna in 2015, and her Master’s degree in Photography at the AKV St. Joost in Breda in 2017. She lives, works, and pretends to learn Dutch in Rotterdam and is artist-in-residence at Roodkapje Rotterdam. She was awarded a grant from CBK Rotterdam for her project ‘Further than Hip Hop’ in 2018, and the Stipendium for Emerging Artists from the Mondriaan Fund in 2019. Her work has been shown at Organ Vida (Zagreb) and Lantaren Venster (Rotterdam).
