James Whitlow Delano

James Whitlow Delano (B.1960) travels all over the world for his poetic reportages. He lives in Asia for the last 18 years, with Tokyo as his home base, he works on long-term projects regarding human rights, the environment and cultural developments. He has published in ‘Time’, ‘Le Monde’ and ‘Newsweek’, omong other magazines, and won various International photo awrds. His work has appeared in several Noorderlicht Photofestivals. Delano also provided a contribution for the Noorderlicht project The Sweet and Sour Story of Sugar.
