George Awde

George Awde (United States, 1980) was trained as a painter at the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston, and in 2009 completed his study of photography at Yale University. He works with large format film and chooses to have long-term interaction with his subjects. His work has political undertones, but above all is intimate and personal in nature.
