Frederic Lezmi

Frederic Lezmi (Germany, 1978) grew up in Dakar, Geneva and the Black Forest. He studied visual communication, with an emphasis on documentary photography, at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen and art at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts in Beirut. He received the BFF Promotion Award and the Reinhart-Wolf-Preis for his series Beyond Borders. Lezmi is the founder of the small publishing house Sunday Books.
