Elspeth Diederix

Elspeth Diederix was born in Kenya (1971) and raised in Colombia. Diederix studied from 1990 to 1995 at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, in the painting and sculpture department. During her studies at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam (1998-2000) and in the years that followed, she traveled to all corners of the world to create work, both her own projects and commissioned work. In 2002 she won the prestigious Prix de Rome Photography.
