About Dirk-Jan Visser
With a background in art and journalism, Dirk-Jan Visser (NL 1978) is a documentary photographer, a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague and a supervisor in the cultural sector. Through photography, stakeholder management and public affairs, he aims to facilitate the conversation around social and ecological issues. His work has been nominated for several Golden Calf awards (Netherlands Film Festival), he won the Dutch Design Award, his work was exhibited at MoMA in New York and he presented his project New Horizon Initiative at the UN Climate Change Summit (COP27) in Egypt.
