About Didier Ben Loulou
Didier Ben Loulou, photographer, winner of the “la Villa Médicis hors les murs”, received a grant from the Fiacre (Ministry of Culture) and was subsequently awarded by the European Association for Jewish Culture, Visual Arts Grant, Paris/London. In 2007 he opened a fund at the Imec (Institute of Contemporary Publishing Memories) where his archives are now located. For more than thirty years he has produced a unique, unclassifiable oeuvre, in which color occupies a primordial place. His images have been printed using the Fresson process since his debut in 1979.
