Denis Rouvre

Since 1992 Denis Rouvre (France, 1967), a Parisian, has been doing portraits of both stars and anonymous people whose lives have taken a peculiar course. His work has been honoured with various awards, including the World Press Photo (2010 and 2013), the SONY World Photography Award 2011 and the Hasselblad Masters Portrait in 2012. In addition he has also published several books, including Lamb (about Senegalese wrestlers) and Low Tide – Le Japon du Chaos.
