French-German photographer Daniel Chatard (1996, Germany) explores themes that revolve around our environment, identity and trauma, and specifically how these manifest themselves in the landscape. He describes his approach as an engaged documentary photographer, making his own relationship to his subjects part of the work and using collaboration to create new knowledge.
