Daan Paans

Daan Paans (Netherlands, 1985) studied Photography at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Sint-Joost. After graduating in 2009, his work has been exhibited in the Netherlands, New York, Germany, Switzerland and Saint Petersburg. Paans has published the books Letters From Utopia (2013) and Perhaps It Might Be Said Rightly… (2010). His work has been granted the St. Joost Academy Award (2009) and the FOAM Talent 2016 Award. He has received commissions from Vrij Nederland, de Volkskrant and The Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment. For RHINOCEROS, Paans collaborated with Frank van der Stok, Autobahn, Michael van Kekem, Jesse Nortier and LhGWR.
