Caty Jan

Caty Jan’s (b. 1966) work explores the different stages in life. Her first series was based on the subject of giving birth in several maternity hospitals in Paris, a research project she continued in hospitals in Cuba. She also directs her work towards the world of women in which sensuality and grace abound: inside a Cuban cabaret, a Parisian hammam or in the backstage of the Crazy Horse.
