Antanas Sutkus

Antanas Sutkus (B. 1939) founded  the union of Lithuaninan photographers in 1969, the first trade union of photographers in the Sovjet Union. Only in 2000, after winning the prestigious Hasselblad award, did he devote himself to cataloguing his archive, which comprises over a millon negatives. He is also represented in Transition, another component of Behind walls.
