Adam Bartos

New Yorker-born Adam Bartos (1953) has been shooting since he was a teenager, capturing images that are imbued with a quiet serenity.
In the early 1970s, he attended film school at New York University and began working with color photography. Bartos focuses on the contemporary landscape. But in his images time seems to stand still, giving them an aura of temporary disruption.
