Abid Katib

Abid Katib (1973) received his bachelors degree in media and information from the American World Open University. He began working  in 1992 as a cameraman for Vis News, and was later a reporter for the newspaper al-Quds. Since 1994 he worked for Reuters, and since 1997 for Associated Press. In 2001 he moved over to Getty Images. At the same time he continued to work for the Palestinian newspapers al-Hyat and al-Ayyam. He has given photography lessons to four of his brothers – including Said, whose work is also to be seen in Point of No Return.
