Wanderer

Since 11 November 2025, Wanderer has run continuously, as a smart contract on the blockchain: an autonomous digital entity crossing a world map. Its route is set by the cryptographic hash of transactions, and a dual-channel installation shows its coordinates with a continuous stream of text: “Go left. Passing a church.” Leegte turns the flâneur into an algorithm, a walker that observes without experiencing and records without memory. What remains is the route without the body.
