PhotoSalon
Pictoright, DuPho & Roosje Klap
Are you a photographer or lens-based artist in the north of the Netherlands, and do you want to be part of a growing network that is stronger together? Come to the next PhotoSalon on Thursday 10 April at Noorderlicht (Akerkhof 12). The themes of this edition are representation and your intellectual property and copyright as a photographer. How can we as northern lens-based makers stand stronger together? Should we start a union?! The event is intended as the living room of northern photography: a place that connects and inspires image-makers.
During this session, you'll meet fellow photographers and help build a stronger network. Pictoright will share everything you need to know about your rights as an image-maker. DuPho (Dutch Photographers), the professional organization for image-makers in the Netherlands, will explain the legal, business, and creative support they offer to photographers. Roosje Klap, director of Noorderlicht, will share all the ins and outs of a good portfolio and CV — and how to not accidentally sabotage it.
Please note: the language of this programme is English.
