We move daily through a sea of radio signals: wifi, bluetooth, satellites, and cell towers. They shape how we communicate, travel, and live together—yet we never actually see them. At the heart of this lies the work of Christy Westhovens, created especially for the Biennale in the Tschumipavilion.

During the Radioscapes Symposium on 31 August, we will explore this invisible landscape together with artists and researchers.
Programme
12:00 – 13:00 – Visit to the Biennale at Niemeyer (Paterswoldseweg 43) with our junior director Ino!
13:30 – 14:30 – Data walk & installation Signals of You, Tschumipavilion (Hereplein)
16:00 – 18:00 – Symposium with lectures and roundtable discussion, Noorderlicht (Akerkhof 12)
This programme is organised by Noorderlicht, the Critical Infrastructure Lab, and Kunstpunt Groningen.
