In Under Boom, Louis Braddock Clarke immerses visitors in a hallucinatory soundscape where the inaudible vibrations of the Earth become tangible.

The installation uses infrasound—extremely low frequencies triggered by events like mining blasts, space debris burns, airstrikes, and the calving of icebergs—to create an experience where image and sound merge. By making these hidden rhythms of human activity both audible and visible, Braddock Clarke reveals the deep imprint of technological intervention on the planet. The work establishes a physical connection between human energy outputs and the shifting acoustics of Earth, inviting us to wonder what it means if the planet itself starts "dancing" faster each year. The work makes the entanglement between human technology and natural processes tangible.
