The Dream of the Machine
In The Dream of the Machine, Noviki shows how technology and nature are becoming more and more intertwined.
At the heart of the installation is a virtual garden: a landscape created together with artificial intelligence (AI). In this garden, new forms grow that feel both familiar and strange—a play between what seems natural and what is digitally born. On a huge, extra-wide screen, surrounded by smaller projections, visitors are drawn into a world where boundaries fade away. Here, nature is not replaced by technology but reshaped, as if the machine itself has begun to dream of life. In these playful yet unsettling images, Studio Noviki suggests that our future is no longer separate from the technologies we create, but deeply entangled with them—like roots weaving together underground.
