Green Dose
In Green Dose, Florinda Ciucio constructs an immersive video environment featuring hyperrealistic, AI-generated landscapes inspired by the picturesque Val di Mello region in Italy.

Accompanied by pink noise—a digitally simulated sound of flowing water— the installation examines how experiences of nature are increasingly commodified and consumed. The visuals are selected according to the 'Attention Restoration Theory', which suggests that natural settings allow the brain to relax and wander, reducing stress. Yet Green Dose provocatively asks: does it still matter whether the environment is real or an artificial replica? In this installation, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the environment, for some sensory relaxation and mental restoration, taking in their daily dose of nature, exactly measured, according to the medical guidelines, at 17 minutes and 8 seconds. Ciucio invites you to reflect on how our relationship with the natural world has become detached and artificially reconstructed.
