El Camino de la Montaña (Spanje, 2012)

Fifteen years ago, a few people settled in a village in the Spanish Pyrenees. The village had been uninhabited for the previous 25 years. About fifty adults and a number of children now live there.

The residents have consciously distanced themselves from the contemporary materialistic and overcrowded existence and opted for their own ideals. Vegetables are grown in the vegetable garden, water comes from a well and materials from the valley are used for the houses. For Sylvana Lansu it symbolizes a form of ultimate freedom.
